BLOG NEWS 🎸 THE BLOG IS CLOSED 🎸
MARCH 31, 2022: I reopened last week after a huge thumbs catalog update, only to have a half-dozen traders run me in circles, by offering only web finds and kindle books in trade for my best files, by refusing to purchase digital editions to offer in trade, and by refusing to send their files. It's been a huge waste of my valuable time. Therefore, the blog is again closed.
TRADE POLICIES - RULES OF TRADING
RULE NUMBER ONE: Only publishers digital editions are taken in trade, with exceptions for best quality scans where no digital edition exists, or digital items to upgrade scanned items, or audio access codes for items missing audio. Low quality items aren't taken in trade, such as poor quality scans and tablet formats. See 'Trade Ideas' for more about publishers digital editions.
My items typically trade at a value of $10 to $35 each. I trade generously and often provide bonus items, so you'll receive more than you give in trade. Now a warning about songbooks in tablet formats...
ATTENTION: Because of their poor image quality, items in kindle/tablet formats (AZW, ePUB, MOBI) aren't taken in trade - with one exception; items in "Print Replica" or "Fixed Layout" format are taken in trade if its PDF conversion is of digital image quality. See 'Trade Ideas' for more information.
HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST
First, read and understand the rules (above). Limit your request to five items, list your trade items to include only publisher's digital editions and best quality scans, don't send a laundry list of web finds.
